Charlie Kistler is a husband, father, grandfather, and neighbor. He is a lifelong Minnesotan and has been a resident of Brooklyn Park for almost 50 years. He and his wife have been married for 49 years and raised two children in the community they love. Today, they enjoy spending time with their granddaughter and remain deeply invested in the future of Minnesota families. He understands the challenges facing Minnesota families because he lives them every day.

Charlie began his career as a hand-on service technician, working directly with customers to solve problems and keep businesses operating. His leadership and dedication helped grow a service organization from 7 technicians to more than 100 employees. Through hard work and a commitment to people, he advanced through management positions and ultimately served as Vice President of the Service Division, working with both clients and management to solve complex issues and deliver results.

Charlie isn't a career politician. He's a problem solver who believes government should work for the people it serves. If elected, he’ll bring that same approach to Brooklyn Park and Osseo by listening first, working hard, and fighting to make our communities safer and stronger.
